FIAT G.50

The FIAT G.50 was not a particularly outstanding aircraft, however, in the hands of the Finns it did a fine job as a combat aircraft against the invading Soviet Union. Several of Finland's aces flew the G.50. This particular aircraft features ski landing gear for use in the winter. I built this FIAT G.50 from an Airfix 1:72 scale kit. The model was finished with paints from Gunze-Sangyo, Floquil and Tamiya. The decals are from InScale while the propeller is from Aeroclub Models and the skiis are from my spare parts box.
