Avro Anson

The Avro Anson was a general purpose type aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s. Designed and built in England, the Anson saw service with the RAF and many other air forces overseas. Finland operated three Avro Ansons in its air force. This particular example was serving in the Finnish Air Force at the time of the Winter War in 1939-1940 against the USSR. I built this Anson from an Airfix 1:72 scale kit. The model was finished with paints from Gunze-Sangyo, Floquil and Tamiya. The decals came from TechMod and Galdecal.
