DMP230 - Solid Works 2010 Projects |
In the Spring of 2011, I studied the software package Solid Works 2010 which is used for 3-D modeling on the computer. I took the DMP230 course at the Advanced Technology and Education Park (ATEP) in Tustin, California. The DMP230 course covers the basics of the Solidworks program and is part of the Design Model Making and Rapid Prototyping Program at ATEP. ATEP is part of Irvine Valley College. The models shown below are projects from the DMP230 class that I completed. Mixed in with them are a few Solid Works drawings that I did on my own just for fun.

(above) Bench Vice Assembley (class assignment). This project was different in that we were given all the parts already drawn and then we had to assemble them in the correct positions to make the completed bench vice. It looks easier to accomplish than it actually is to do! |
