Messerschmitt Bf-109F

This white-nosed Bf-109F was flown by the German Ace Obersleutnant Hans Joachim Marseille. He flew with JG27 in North Africa and was the top ace in that area with a total of 158 kills to his credit. His Bf-109F is fitted with a sand filter to prevent dust from getting into the engine. I built this Bf-109F from a FROG 1:72 scale kit. The model was finished with paints from Floquil, Gunze and Tamiya. The decals came from the kit.
